Here If Ya Need is a heartfelt comedy-drama feature film that celebrates the strength, humour and complexity of female relationships.

When the pressures of being everything to everyone become too much, there’s one place to find release - the netball court.

Funny, moving and unapologetically real, the film resonates with audiences who have lived through the highs and lows of friendships, careers, motherhood, heartbreak and reinvention.

The Vision

This film is more than entertainment. It’s a celebration of the communities women create for themselves - on the sidelines, on the court, and in the everyday moments that shape who we are.

We want audiences to laugh, cry and most of all, feel seen.

Producer - Here If Ya Need

As a young mum of three daughters, time on the netball court was my escape from the everyday - a place to leave responsibilities behind, if only for an hour.

The sporting arena is one of the few places where women, at any age, can express their fullest potential. It’s where we can be competitive, assertive and unapologetic - and be rewarded for it.

As parenting responsibilities eased, I felt the pull to tell stories in a visual way. Studying Film & Television at VCA gave me an outlet for my creative energy, and I began to see story in everything around me - especially in the women whose strength and humour inspired me daily.

Here If Ya Need is the culmination of that journey. It’s my way of honouring women’s stories - on and off the court.

Community

Here If Ya Need is more than a film. It’s a community of women (and supporters) who understand the joy, resilience and humour that comes with life on and off the court.

We’re building a space to share stories, celebrate achievements, and connect with people who believe in the power of sport, creativity and friendship.
